In line with the celebration of the Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW), the Department of Science and Technology – Region II (DOST-II), together with Cauayan City and Isabela State University, will be showcasingback-to-back science and technology (S&T) activities from August 14 to August 18 at F. L. Dy Coliseum in Cauayan City, Isabela.

MUNOZ, Nueva Ecija – Following the successful celebration of the 2017 National Science and Technology Week of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last July 11-15, 2017, the DOST-Region III now celebrates the Regional S&T Week (RSTW) at the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in Munoz, Nueva Ecija. This year’s activity is anchored on the theme“Science for the People”.

PASAY CITY, Manila – Just like in Japan where school children are taught early about disaster preparedness, the DOST also gathered up kids to talk about hazards as part of the 2017 National Science and Technology Week.
This remarkable event was made possible with the cooperation of different DOST agencies like the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA, the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP), and the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS); Manila Boys Town in Parang, Marikina and the Department of Social Welfare and Development Center in Pasay City.
