The Department of Science and Technology Office No. IX (DOST-IX), through its Provincial Science and Technology Office – Zamboanga Sibugay Province (PSTO-ZSP), successfully turned over the funding assistance to Nanan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (NMPC) amounting to ₱2,894,975.00 under the project, “Community Empowerment through Science & Technology for Barangay Nanan, Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay (CEST-Nanan)” of the DOST’s CEST Program.

Bilang pagsusulong sa kampanya ng disaster risk reduction, nagsagawa ang Department of Science and Technology (DOST) ng isang eksklusibong pagpupulong sa Kongreso ng Pilipinas ukol sa 2024 Handa Pilipinas na ginanap noong 22 Enero 2024 sa South Wing Annex ng House of Representatives sa Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Dahil sa pagpupursige ng Department of Science and Technology sa pagbibigay ng tulong na consultancy at training services, nabigyan na ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ng License to Operate (LTO) ang Bong Galon Herbal Oil sa Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao.
