• College graduate, preferably Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS)

Experience

• One (1) year of relevant experience

Training

• None Required

Eligibility

• Licensed Librarian 

Additional qualifications:

• Familiar with integrated library management system
• Knowledgeable in of MARC tags and Resource Description and Access (RDA)
• Can work independently with minimum supervision.

• Accessions Library materials;
• Classifies and catalogs or perform copy cataloging of library materials;
• Creates original bibliographic records using SILMS following RDA standards;
• Assigns subject headings and cross references;
• Stamps with ownership, labels with call number, and shelfs correctly the Library materials;
• Performs reference service to library customers;
• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time; and
• Willing to work at DOST-PCAARRD, Los Baños, Laguna.
