| Duties and Responsibilities |
- Exercises overall supervision and control of all programs, objectives, and activities of the section;
- Develops, formulates, and implements policies, rules and regulations, governing technical task relating to the overall functions and activities of the section;
- Expands and enhance relationship with international and local networks for the exchange of scientific information with scientific institution, societies, libraries, and other pertinent entities;
- Gathers information through sustained contact, reading, and observations on the trend of local economical development and scientific effort for the guidance in the timely acquisition of functional scientific and technical reference literature for local use; and
- Performs other assignments as higher management may be assigned from time to time.Provides staff assistance to higher level officer in the performance of his/her duties.
