Two prestigious universities in Pampanga, the Angeles University Foundation (AUF) and Holy Angel University (HAU), welcomed the officials of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and showcased their technological innovations on 24 November 2021, as part of the celebration of the 2021 National Science and Technology Week in Central Luzon.

The cities of Cabuyao and San Pedro in the province of Laguna are aiming to have a more coordinated plan and response during times of natural disasters such as earthquakes with their adoption and installation of USHER or the Universal Structural Health Evaluation and Recording, a technology developed through the support of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). 

Bulacan State University (BulSU) president, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon confirmed that they plan to tap the local farmers to supply the raw materials need for the production of the emergency/disaster food in the DOST’s Regional Food Innovation Center (RFIC) in Central Luzon.
