The Department of Science and Technology Regional Office IX (DOST-IX), through its Provincial S&T Center and in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur, recently turned over a Grant-In-Aid (GIA) assistance to Baking Small Coconut Association (BSCA) and Gasa ELCAC Women’s Association (GEWA), amounting to PhP1,320,959.00.

The Department of Science and Technology Regional Office IX (DOST-IX) funds 13 pro-poor and community-based projects in Zamboanga del Norte with assistance amounting to P10,785,131.65. These projects were funded through the agency’s local Grant-in-aid (GIA) assistance in 2021.
