The Department of Science and Technology is informing the participating individuals, agencies and organizations of the postponement of the Handa Pilipinas on March 12-14 at the World Trade Center due to the declaration of Public Health Emergency from the Office of the President and issuance of Code Red Alert Advisory by the Department of Health (DOH) regarding the corona virus disease (COVID 19). Zamboanga, among the country’s top producer of rubber tree, partnered with the Department of Science and Technology-Region IX to transform mature rubbertree into creative, functional pieces of furniture.
